Frequently Asked Questions

Open competition is usually for the more experienced exhibitors, trainers and professional horsemen but many amateur and youth members can be tough competitors as well. The Open is the next step up from our Novice category. If a horse and rider combo wins Champion OR Reserve Champion (1st or 2nd Place) in the novice; this combo MUST advance to the Open division. ZERO EXCEPTIONS. 

A novice horse is a horse that has not won Champion or Reserve Champion in a trail challenge type of event. If you have won Champion or Reserve Champion (In our event or similar) we will be placing you in the Open Division to keep the courses fair and healthy. 

The In Hand division of our horse shows is a competition where horses are hand led into the ring and judged on their movement and appearance while navigating an obstacle course. The goal is to present the horse in a way that makes them look and act their best; while demonstrating safety and A+ horsemanship. Our In Hand welcome any horse (full size or mini), Mule (full size or mini), Donkey (full size or mini).
